Available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. And because of this zeal to follow traditions or what our church leaders say, many Christians today are blinded from the truth. We claim we can see, but yet we fail to see the truth that is clearly written in front of us, in the Bible. -- Blind Faith: How Christianity abandoned God, Part One – the Trinity doctrine, is the first book in a three-part series focused on exposing age-old spiritual beliefs that have been proven to be false. The trinity doctrine is arguably the most accepted, if not a fundamental belief in Christianity today. It’s the belief that claims God is made up of three distinct persons all unique but yet one. The focus of blind faith is to prove to you that the trinity doctrine is a false belief that was concocted and voted on by the 4th century CE, Roman appointed Ecumenical Bishops, who then went on to mislead the whole church into believing in a false god and have done so until this day. The only reason this doctrine is still viewed as truth is because of sixteen centuries of indoctrination, control and monopoly of the church when in fact there is no evidence anywhere in history, or in the Bible to support the existence of such a god (a triune god). If this doctrine is false then its goes without saying that the core or the foundation of what Christians believe today about who God is, is equally false. In other words, Christianity today is based on a lie and the 2.2 billion Christians around the world are following a lie. A lie if brought to light would shake the very foundations of Christianity as we know it.

In a world filled with many different ideologies of whether God exists or not, or who amongst the thousands of deities that claim to be the sovereign God is indeed the true God, can be confusing. Can all these religious or non-religious groups be telling the truth? Or can there be more than one origin for man as indicated by the existence of all the different religious and non-religious beliefs? Certainly not! The fact is there is only one true origin for man, and as such only one true explanation of how man and the universe came to existence. So who is telling the truth? PROOF: The Truth about the Existence and Identity of God, is dedicated to establishing this very fact; that the universe has one single Creator, and elements within it clearly show that it was intelligently designed and thus it is not a product of some random act as explained by some scientific theories.

Blind Faith: How Christianity abandoned the Truth, is the second book in a three-part series focused on exposing age-old spiritual beliefs that have been proven to be false. The eternal life doctrine is arguably the most challenging topic to discuss because of the many varied understanding and interpretation of this topic. Yet, it's the most essential if not the fundamental drive as to why so many people are Christians today. If you asked most Christians why they are Christians I bet you among their myriad responses would be the fact that they want to go to heaven. There are those who believe that all you need to get to heaven is faith, while others, including many verses in the Bible point to the fact that we will be judged by our actions, thus making our actions vitally important. Unfortunately, today we have millions of people who are thinking they are going to heaven who might just be heading in the opposite direction. Since then amongst the goals of every Christian is to go to heaven, it's imperative that we get it right; because as it is we do not get a second chance at this or a do over. The second part of the book addresses a new problem in the church - the Prosperity Gospel message. This new doctrine emphasizes on the need to acquire material wealth and maintain good health. The problem with this teaching is that it is so far removed from reality of why we worship and serve God. It also in most cases under serves the congregants or followers who listen to this message and it rewards mostly, if not only the preachers preaching this message. Yet this is not a message that the bible advocates for, not that there is anything wrong with accruing wealth, but because as we shall see, our goal should be to follow God genuinely and not to follow Him because of things we think we can manipulate Him into giving us.

Robert A. Schuller explores the various ways individuals lose or experience interference with their connection to God. He explains that emotions such as shame, regret, fear, and disappointment can stand in the way of the intimate association God wants with His children. The good news is that when His people are struggling, God stays close. There are many ways to reestablish a dynamic connection with Him. Schuller calls these "Connection Corrections" and leads readers through identifying communication barriers and how to break them. Each chapter delves into the reasons readers fail to connect with God, how to begin repairing the broken wires, and the life-altering benefits of restoring a positive, power-filled relationship with Him. Readers who feel adrift from God will no find that no barrier is too big to keep them from a close, loving relationship with Him.

The Truth is the award-winning first book in The Oracle Institute foundational trilogy. It presents a summary of the divine messages sent to us by God through the Prophets. When studied successively, these spiritual lessons form a "Tower of Truth" that should not be broken or interpreted along sectarian lines. Instead, these Truths should be assimilated into a contemporary spiritual and scientific database and shared by everyone, regardless of religious affiliation. The Truth explores the five primary religions that evolved after the Prophets died: Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam, to determine whether these manmade religions have remained faithful to the Truth, including the primordial Truth that God is half masculine and half feminine energy. The Truth reveals that mankind has built a "Tower of Babel" with God's messages. Moreover, these now ancient religions have polarized humanity and brought us to the brink of World War III. The book also includes an objective template for measuring the adequacy of any religion, and an Appendix that shows the nexus between politics and religion and politics thought human history.

This book is about one man's struggle with his relationship with God. It is reminiscent of AW Tozer's "The Pursuit of God". George Geiger "wrestles with God" throughout the pages of this wonderful little book. Brilliantly done, and I just had to have Mr. Geiger's book on my web site. When you read it, you'll see why it is destined to be a LuLu and a New York Times best-seller.

The essays in this volume focus on philosophical, theological, and structural aspects of contemporary Buddhist-Christian dialogue in an effort to assess its potential as a source for the renewal and transformation of both traditions. Writing from differing assumptions, academic disciplines, and religious world views, the nine Christian and two Buddhist contributors are nevertheless agreed that interreligious dialogue can contribute meaningfully to our understanding of some of the profound issues arising out of modern self-consciousness. Believing that the human community and its survival are threatened everywhere by secularism, they seek to show that the dialogue between Buddhists and Christians can provide not only insights but a conceptual framework for authentic living in the present age of religious pluralism. Each writer shares the conclusion that Buddhist-Christian encounter is vitally important for a larger understanding of contemporary issues of self-identity, evil, communication, and fulfillment.

Eurasian Philosophy and Quantum Metaphysics (Theology Reconsidered) By: Juan Valdez The science of our modern age is able to neither address nor solve our current global problems. Author Juan Valdez believes we should study humanity’s ancient wisdom and philosophy texts to develop a new intellectual paradigm that can respond and support our current needs. Eurasian Philosophy and Quantum Metaphysics (Theology Reconsidered) is an in-depth study of the origins and meanings of ancient philosophies before they were fractured into mythology and religions and attacked by modern science. Beginning with creation mythology in Eurasia through the development of philosophical thought, to the Scientific Revolution to our own modern Quantum Era, the progression – and abandonment – of ancient wisdom is carefully studied. Valdez reviews and analyzes the ancient texts themselves to understand what they truly say and not what later historians have said about them. The Indo-Aryan Vedas, the Torah, Rene Descartes’ Discourse on the Method and Principles of Philosophy, Neils Bohr’s Atomic Theory, and more, are all respectfully and critically assessed. As enlightened as we may consider ourselves, Valdez calls attention to how limited modern thought has become. By reviewing past wisdom, we can not only rediscover the roots of modern thought but place Wisdom itself at the top of intellectual pursuits. Eurasian Philosophy and Quantum Metaphysics (Theology Reconsidered) is a rich and nuanced study on how humanity has thought of itself.

Type: BOOK - Published: 2014-11-13 - Publisher: Random House

What has God done for you lately? Faith is in crisis. Are God and faith still useful in the modern world? If God is to have a future, Deepak Chopra argues, we must find a new approach to spirituality. For this we don't need better belief systems or scriptures - we need to rethink our place in the universe itself. Chopra reveals how God is about much more than religion. If God stands for absolute goodness, love and truth, and we are part of God, we have a connection to those things. Chopra explains the logic of faith, while providing an incisive critique of militant atheism. If God has a future, Chopra reasons, the results will be for the betterment of us all.

The Roman Empire at Bay is the only one volume history of the critical years 180-395 AD, which saw the transformation of the Roman Empire from a unitary state centred on Rome, into a new polity with two capitals and a new religion—Christianity. The book integrates social and intellectual history into the narrative, looking to explore the relationship between contingent events and deeper structure. It also covers an amazingly dramatic narrative from the civil wars after the death of Commodus through the conversion of Constantine to the arrival of the Goths in the Roman Empire, setting in motion the final collapse of the western empire. The new edition takes account of important new scholarship in questions of Roman identity, on economy and society as well as work on the age of Constantine, which has advanced significantly in the last decade, while recent archaeological and art historical work is more fully drawn into the narrative. At its core, the central question that drives The Roman Empire at Bay remains, what did it mean to be a Roman and how did that meaning change as the empire changed? Updated for a new generation of students, this book remains a crucial tool in the study of this period.
